Weikert Design is the partnership of Mike and Stephannie Weikert, graphic designers living and working in Baltimore, Maryland.
When Stephannie is not teaching yoga or chasing after Maya and Eli, she is in charge of production. She also runs Small Roar, a line of graphic baby shirts. Mike is in charge of design. He is also director of the Center for Design Practice at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Previously, he was co-chair of the graphic design department at MICA, creative director at Atlanta-based Iconologic and served as a design consultant to the International Olympic Committee.
Mike's work has been recognized in several design publications including; Communication Arts, Graphis, How, Identity, Print, STEP and Type Director’s Club and design books including; Design Alliance, D.I.Y. Design It Yourself, Print’s Best Invitation Design, Print’s Best Logos & Symbols, The Nature of Design, The Olympic Image and White Graphics.
